Data Analysts Can Now Easily Use Existing Models from SAS, SPSS and R for Full Fidelity Big Data Analytics on Hadoop

The Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML) is a standard for representing predictive models, making them highly portable. Karmasphere and Zementis take this one step further by transforming PMML models into industry standard Hive UDF’s for Hadoop. Analysts can now use Karmasphere to deploy their statistical models natively on Hadoop, across all their data and dimensions, to improve the accuracy of results. The new solution will be demonstrated at the Karmasphere booth, #34, at the Hadoop Summit, beginning today.
