Gail Ennis
CEO
Gail Ennis is the Chief Executive Officer of Karmasphere. A 25-year industry veteran, she has deep domain expertise and executive-level leadership in scaling successful high-growth, global technology companies. Her experience reflects a blend of traditional enterprise software with on-demand, Cloud and SaaS approaches to quickly penetrate markets with innovative products, sales and marketing models.
Previously, Ennis was the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Omniture, a leading SaaS web analytics and online business optimization company, acquired by Adobe for $1.8 billion. Ennis' achievements there include helping grow Omniture from $30 million in revenues to more than $350 million in the dynamic on-demand web analytics and online marketing industry.
Also, as a vice president at BEA when it grew from $250,000 to $1 billion, Ennis was responsible for driving significant revenues through SI, OEM and ISV channels. She later headed up the product marketing, sales enablement and go-to-market strategy for BEA's Commerce Server division, formed to accelerate sales of its flagship product WebLogic, the industry's most successful application server.
Earlier in her career, Ennis held executive sales, marketing and business development positions at Oracle Corporation and Pyramid Technology. She earned a BS in Molecular Biology from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Martin Hall
Founder & EVP Corporate Development
Martin Hall is Founder & EVP Corporate Development at Karmasphere. He brings a strong entrepreneurial track record and a history of pioneering new Internet technologies and markets. Prior to founding Karmasphere, Martin was a founder of Aventail, a leading computer security company acquired by SonicWall. Prior to that, he was the founding CEO of Stardust, an Internet technology services company sold to Penton Media. Martin has chaired and participated in a number of industry groups including WinSock, Quality of Service, Internet Multicast and Wireless Multimedia Forums. He holds a Masters of Computer Science from Staffordshire University in Stafford, England.
Abe Taha
Vice President of Engineering
Abe Taha is Vice President of Engineering at Karmasphere.
Prior to joining Karmasphere, Abe was Senior Director of Engineering for Ask.com where he led engineering for all Dictionary.com properties. Before that, Abe was Director of Engineering at Ning where he worked on Hadoop-based solutions for Ning users and led development of the Ning data services platform and systems management services.
Previously, Abe managed development for the Google Apps Infrastructure at Google, and while at Yahoo! served as Senior Engineering Manager for several units including Del.icio.us, Social Search Platform, Search Front-End Platform and Listings Platform. In addition, Abe has held engineering positions at technology companies including CNA eBusiness, Scient and Jackson Software.
Abe has completed course requirements for a PhD and holds a MS in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned a MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University.
Abe, the recipient of numerous academic awards and fellowships, also holds a patent for development of a search engine with augmented relevance ranking by community participation.

Mannan Latif
VP and CFO
Mannan Latif has over 20 years of experience in senior financial management. His background includes experience in public and private capital markets, structuring strategic alliances and corporate partnerships and experience in high-growth companies as well as turnaround situations.
He has completed over $700 million in debt and equity financings on a global basis and has been involved in over $1 billion in domestic and international M&A transactions.
Mannan was the co-founder of Evant (formerly Non-Stop Solutions), an innovative demand-chain optimization software company and was instrumental in the sale of a networking company to a public company. Having been the CFO of several emerging-growth technology companies, he also has operational experience in the areas of human resources, administration and legal. Mannan has an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from the University of Bombay.
