You use your Karmasphere account to create a feedset. First you should ensure that you have subscribed to all the feeds want to include in the feedset. Then, click the "Publish" menu option and follow the links.
First you must fill in several descriptive elements about the feedset. They are:
This allows you to control the graphical icon associated with the feedset. The system supports jpeg, gif and png formats sized 88x31 pixels.
This is the unique identifier for the feedset in the system. It is used to identify the feedset in web site and network queries.
Say something meaniningful about your feedset including its purpose and, if you like, something about the rationale and recommended use of the feedset.
To help other users locate and understand the things it can be used for, it's useful to assign the feedset to one or more categories. If you mark it as public, this allows it to be discovered through the "Browse Categories" function.
Mark the feedset Private and you're the only user who can access it. Mark it Unlisted and you can give its DNS or BQuery address to other users but it will not appear in public listings. Mark it as Public and every other Karmasphere user can see and use it.
